Learning Code

I want to learn more about Photoshop, how to use Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Wordpress, and a few others. I would like to learn all at once, but since I have no way to download them to my brain I must learn the slow way. I have started with coding.  I want to learn more about how it works so that I can write it. I think it will be important so that I can be hired.  I am looking into a job with the school system. It is called, Information Communication Technology Literacy Coach.  I will continue with the counseling at least part-time, but I really love technology and since it is part of the future, I think it is important to learn more about it. I have started with code academy, but it seems to me there are many parts left out. I am struggling to understand the whole process. So it seems to be a slow process, but I give myself 6 months to make a significant change and then no matter what I must be working full-time.  So coding is like learning a new language and if I were to teach it, I think I would do a few things differently.  It is important to cover the basics thoroughly so that one can make sense of things later on.
