Learning Code

I want to learn more about Photoshop, how to use Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Wordpress, and a few others. I would like to learn all at once, but since I have no way to download them to my brain I must learn the slow way. I have started with coding.  I want to learn more about how it works so that I can write it. I think it will be important so that I can be hired.  I am looking into a job with the school system. It is called, Information Communication Technology Literacy Coach.  I will continue with the counseling at least part-time, but I really love technology and since it is part of the future, I think it is important to learn more about it. I have started with code academy, but it seems to me there are many parts left out. I am struggling to understand the whole process. So it seems to be a slow process, but I give myself 6 months to make a significant change and then no matter what I must be working full-time.  So coding is like learning a new language and if I were to teach it, I think I would do a few things differently.  It is important to cover the basics thoroughly so that one can make sense of things later on. A New Start

I am going to start learning code. It would be nice not to have to sleep, or clean house or take care of other things. I love learning about new tools. I just need to be able to do it faster. I have also applied for a job at the school district. Even if I don't get the job I am going to continue to learn more and find a place to volunteer so that I can get my foot in the door.  I fear that my age may be a factor and I may not be as fast as the kids, but still, I will keep on working to find a place that will take me and help me learn more.  I will use this post to share my journey, but also to post technology tips. Technology is a nice break from therapy. Therapy can be hard, as not all who come want help or want to change. Most people seem to be dealing with the stuff in their heads, but technology just does and there are no emotions to deal with really.
 I will write once a week to share my progress.
